Hairdressing Salon Equipment From REM
When setting up a new salon there is a lot of different pieces of hairdressing salon equipment you need to buy and here at REM we can help.
We would advise you think about your salon in different areas, Welcome Areas, Wash Areas and Styling Areas as you will need different pieces of hairdressing salon equipment for each.
Welcome Areas
The welcome areas in any salon are extremely important as they are the first thing clients (and potential clients) see. The hairdressing salon equipment you put in your welcome areas needs to be chosen carefully as it needs to reflect the type of image you want to portray.
What Pieces Of Hairdressing Salon Equipment Do I Need In My Welcome Areas?
If you are unsure what pieces of hairdressing salon equipment you need to place in your welcome areas here is what we would suggest: –
Welcome Desk – this is the main focal point in any welcome area as this is where your staff will greet your clients.
Seating – it is essential for your clients to have somewhere to sit while they wait for there appointment. Many people like to turn up early as being late isn't an option so you may find a number of people waiting in your welcome area.
Table – upon which you can place magazines for your clients to read. This also provides a place for them to rest their drinks while they are waiting for their appointment.
Display Cabinets – no salon is complete without a display cabinet as this is used as a selling point. If you wish to sell products; shampoo, conditioner, treatments, to your clients they need to be able to see what you have on offer.
Wash Areas
Getting your hair washed in a salon can be really uncomfortable if they haven't invested in some good, high quality hairdressing salon equipment. Some clients can spend up to half an hour in the wash area; getting their hair washed and treated, so you need to ensure they are comfortable at all times.
The type of hairdressing salon equipment you put in your wash areas also needs to be easy for your staff to use. As they can't leave the clients for too long you need to ensure everything they need to make the client have an enjoyable experience is to hand.
What Pieces Of Hairdressing Salon Equipment Do I Need In My Wash Areas?
If you are unsure what pieces of hairdressing salon equipment you need to place in your wash areas here is what we would suggest: –
Wash Points – you can choose to have as many wash points as you need, some can be bought separately, others come as a collection and here and the REM site you will be spoilt for choice.
Towel Store – this needs to hold a number of different towels and should be placed within reach of the wash points.
Styling Areas
There is a lot of choice when it comes to choose hairdressing salon equipment for your styling areas as this is the place where your clients will spend most of their time. Any hairdressing salon equipment you place in your styling areas needs to be of a high standard and comfortable for both clients to sit in and stylists to work with.
What Pieces Of Hairdressing Salon Equipment Do I Need In My Styling Areas?
If you are unsure what pieces of hairdressing salon equipment you need to place in your styling areas here is what we would suggest: –
Styling Units – these come in a massive range of styles and sizes, it just depends on how much space you have and what type of atmosphere you are trying to create.
Storage Units – as your stylists will have a lot of pieces of hairdressing salon equipment they need to use while with clients.
Chairs/Stools – you need to think about what type of chairs will be comfortable for your clients but also easy for your stylists to work with.
Trolleys – are often required in addition to styling units as there lots of little bits and pieces stylists need on a regular basis.
